The Touchstone Energy Home program utilizes an Energy Star rating as a foundation, and then expands in certain categories.

Every builder must attend an orientation to the program that familiarizes them with the particular differences.  When a home is built to this level of quality it is certified by the energy co-operative then a heating and cooling guarantee is then issued.
